I attempt to summarize here what work I have done on ASW starting 1 January 2024. This log does not include error corrections and the like and I cannot promise that there will not be errors of omission or commission inasmuch as this log is not constructed automatically.

26 April 2024: Modified the range statement and added a comment under Rhinella ocellata (Bufonidae) reflecting the publication of Couto, Santos, Godoi, and Miguel, 2024, Cuad. Educ. Desarrollo, 16: 1–7, who discussed the range, provided a dot map, and provided new records from Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

Zool., Senckenberg, 74: 249–277. Watch this spot. 

13 April 2024: Added comments under Salamandrella (Hynobiidae), Salamandrella keyserlingii, and Salamandrella tridactyla, noting the publication of Liu, Duan, Wang, Zhao, and Liu, 2024, PLoS One, 19(2: e0298221): 1–14, who reported on the molecular (COI) variation within and among Salamandrella keyserlingii and Salamandrella tridactyla populations in northeastern China.

26 March 2024: Added a comment under Sclerophrys regularis (Bufonidae), noting the publication of Sorungbe, Oniya, Akinyele, and Odeyemi, 2023, Sci. Rev., 9: 15–22, who reported on karyotypic and morphometricl variation in Ondo state, Nigeria. 

17 March 2024: Started modifying the records of Pelophylax (Ranidae) to conform to the revision and discussion by Dufresnes, Monod-Broca, Bellati, Canestrelli, Ambu, Wielstra, Dubey, Crochet, Denoël, and Jablonski, 2024, Global Change Biol., 30 (e17180): 1–30. This paper is rich in ideas and suggestions for further research. Beyond noting a *lot* of lineages that lack names, the following synonymies for the western group have been included: Pelophylax bergeri -> Pelophylax lessonae bergeri, Pelophylax kurtmuelleri -> Pelophylax ridibundus kurtmuelleri, Pelophylax bedriagae -> Pelophylax ridibundus bedriagae, Pelophylax cypriensis -> Pelophylax ridibundus cypriensis, Pelophylax persicus -> Pelophylax ridibundus persicus, Pelophylax caralitanus -> Pelophylax ridibundus caralitanus, Pelophylax cerigensis -> Pelophylax ridibundus cerigensis, and Pelophylax terentievi -> Pelophylax ridibundus terentievi. Because of the enormity of changes it will take me some time to work through this. Revisions of the eastern group (e.g., Pelophylax plancyi, Pelophylax nigromaculatus, and relatives) have yet to be incorporated. 

15 March 2024: Added South Africa to the range of Ptychadena uzungwensis (Ptychadenidae) and added comment to that species record noting the publication of De Lange, Netherlands, and Du Preez, 2023, Afr.
